30/3/2010: A Pleasant Walk at Vaucluse House
Late afternoon and Dr Tina, her babies and I set out for a walk through Vaucluse House Gardens to visit the goats. We left Pan there almost a year ago. She is not very interested in us anymore but the other little white goat is very friendly as are the chickens. The children laugh and try to feed them leaves which have fallen from the big overhanging trees and not surprisingly none of the animals are interested. Then we chase them around the gardens and admire the lush vegetable garden. I have started a herb garden at the back of the practice and am happy eating the herbs when they are well washed but am not sure about growing vegetables there yet.
